"You couldn’t have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances [at ‘60 Minutes’] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.”

Day Of Atonement
Today, millions of Jews around the world are asking for forgiveness. And if Michigan can beat Penn State today, I'm sure millions of Wolverine fans will forgive their team for the worst start in two generations.
Don't bet on it! This team and university has a stain that will last well beyond the rest of Lloyd Carr's lifetime. The loss to Appalachain cannot be so easily brushed off. And if U-M kicks butt throughout the rest of the year, then it will just expose the little 10 for how truly inept they've become.
Even if you think Michigan has Penn State's number, that was a nice win. The loss was an embarrassment, but a solid season will help a lot with wiping that out. If the Big Ten is weak, we'll just have to wait and see during bowl season.
