So it's down to a one-game season. The Tigers collapsed so spectacularly, they deserve to lose. I'll still be rooting for them, but they've got a lot of hoops to jump through to get to a World Series they don't deserve to be in.
Of course, the AL Central is so weak you almost feel they shouldn't be represented in the playoffs.
No matter who wins it'll be over soon.
ReplyDeleteIn 2006 I bought playoff tickets and the best I could get were an "if necessary" game that wasn't played when they ended the series quickly. (Good news, bad news.) This time I was lucky enough to get Game 1 in Detroit -- none of that "if necessary" BS this time. I am not exactly hopeful. Now I know how Lions fans feel.
