The amazing thing about the article is Buchanan still think us entering World War II was a mistake.
He also says Bush's lack of protectionism, of all things, has hurt our economy. Yes, that would explain record-low unemployment and consistent growth.
Buchanan used to be wrong on social matters, but now he's wrong on everything.
