Columbusguy, your phrasing of the last sentence confused me. Maybe my mind was wandering . . .
Notable that this does NOT require embryonic stem cells. Anyway, this is the portion of the article that needs further exposition:
"To date the technique can boost breast size by only half as much as existing synthetic implants, and slender patients may not have enough fat to spare."
As to the first clause, I've seen some mighty big synthetic implants -- do they mean half the size of the largest, or half the size of the smallest synthetics? As to the second clause, that seems to be a self-regulating system; you only get to have boobs if the rest of you is curvy enough to supply the raw materials.
Interesting. The idea of self-regulating systems is one of elegance; but then, the whole exercise is about subverting such limitations.
