No Surprise
In a day of upsets, the unranked Wolverines took care of the even worse Wildcats. The game was way too close--in fact, at halftime, things looked dire. At least Michigan gets a breather next week against EMU before the bell starts to toll.

Let's look at Michigan's opponents. App St. lost to Wofford (enrollment of 3500); Oregon who crushed them in the Big House lost by a touchdown to a Cal team at home (no, not USC, Cal); Notre Dame -- 0-5 now clearly one of the worst D-I teams in the country and counting to 0-8 until their schedule lightens up a bit -- they probably regret not joining the Big 10 now!! Penn State lost to Illinois yesterday (no, not in basketball); and N'Western who played 'em tough and led for most of the game.
Is this a top 25 team even with all of the other teams losing around the country?? At this point in the season, a team should not be rated based on the record of last year. From the Big 10, only OSU, Wisconsin, and Purdue deserve to be rated in the top 25 at this point.
Oregon could have easily won that game, and Cal is ranked high.
As for Michigan, in two weeks they play Purdue and we'll see how they respond.
