Timing

The general rule in stock market corrections is after a period of serious pain, the numbers start rising again, sometimes returning to former highs in a surprisingly short time. It even happens without massive government intervention. Let's hope it happens again. And if it does, the luckiest person will be the new man in the Oval Office, who will probably get the credit.

PS I see Obama is planning to buy a half hour of prime time for his campaign. I realize he has about three times more money than McCain, but you'd think McCain would at least try to do the same.
