"You couldn’t have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances [at ‘60 Minutes’] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.”
This line made me snort: Barack Obama, since he's a genuine leader, with a good program for cleaning up Washington, and will be very good for business.
Also this one: Barack Obama. I could give 100 reasons, but I'll just say civil liberties. He's not perfect, and yes, he sold out on warrantless wiretapping, but on the whole, he's been better in this area than any presidential candidate in my voting lifetime.
Perhaps QG, who is a self-admitted one-issue voter (civil liberties) can tell me why Obama will be such a wonderful civil liberties President.
I thought I already did? My conclusion was "likely better than McCain," not "wonderful." There is absolutely zero chance he'll be wonderful. I'll find and link it later.
I got a ways through and didn't find those comments also didn't find many not voting. No doubt they are there but you need to be a studious reader of libertarian journalists to find that stuff out.
What I got is that like many other people they really don't like the current crop of republicans much and unlike many other people, they like Bob Barr (sure he has the party opinions down pat, but isn't is the slightest bit relevant that he's ...well Bob Barr, I guess a vote for Barr shows contempt for gov't so maybe its still internally consistent).
Well the Reason folks can go back to primarily fighting the welfare state after years of primarily battling the national security state

By my count, nine said they weren't voting.
