How so? Principles can be good, bad or indifferent, can't they? Sure the word tends toward a highfalutin connotation, but it just means
"a comprehensive and fundamental law, doctrine, or assumption" according to Noah W. sort of like an ideology/religion

So then "democrats BAD!" is a principle? Hmm, I'm not sure. My guess is they meant it in Noah's second sense: "habitual devotion to right principles."

I would say that "democrats BAD" is exactly what qualifies as a principle.
Principle=assumptions to be made about life and such that relieve one of the necessity of thinking for one's self. See ideology, belief, etc.. for similar.

Nothing could be sillier than this principle--Change=Good.

The verification word is "roomen" which sounds like Irish noodles.
