That's Rich

For as long as I've been following college football, Michigan has been a top team--until last year. They've also been a fairly clean program.

Now, under coach Rich Rodriguez, not only are they losers, they're accused of violating NCAA rules by making the players practice too much. While I certainly like a coach who demands a lot from the team, we don't need this.

Makes you wonder if his days are numbered.

An unorthodox "Cheat to Lose" strategy.

For all the bad things you can say about West Virginia, the state stunk a little less the day Rodriguez absconded.

If Michigan wins, nothing else matters. Same if it loses.

Don't buy into the whole story. There is little substantiation to anything that has been declared. Most (if not all) teams put in extra time, usually organized by older players -- thru the coaches indirectly.

I think that Rodriguez has a lot of haters (including players) who would say and do most anything to hasten his more-than-likely departure.
