Happy 70th, Ringo!
Ringo was odd man out in The Beatles, being the least musically ambitious, and the last one to join. But he added a special charm that made him a fan favorite, and somehow balanced out his bandmates.
His post-Beatles career has more downs than ups, but I don't know if any other group member could have added so much pathos if they sang lead in the following:
