"You couldn’t have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances [at ‘60 Minutes’] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.”
The top soul singer of our time?? R U friggin serious?? If Green's looks were unknown then he never would have made it. He couldn't (and still can't) sing worth beans.

I'd like to hear of a better soul singer in the last 40 years.
How can it be about looks? Al Green made it on radio, in the years before MTV.
I Feel Good == In other words: James Brown
I said in the last 40 years. James Brown's heyday as a soul singer was the 50s and 60s. By the 70s, it was more funk.
I'd go with Otis Clay over Al.
