The Other British 60s Group With A Buddy Holly Inspired Name
Allen Clarke turns 70 today. He and his old pal Graham Nash started the Hollies, one of the great bands of the 60s. As lead singer, Clarke defined the sound of the band more than any other member, and it's a sound that still feels great today.
