Late Summer
So Donna Summer is gone. She was the unquestioned queen of disco. I didn't go for a lot of her music, but sometimes it was fun.

I know it's heretical, but I prefer Donna Summer's disco version of MacArthur Park to Richard Harris' original version.
It's probably just because I heard Summers' version growing up and didn't hear Harris' until recently. Or maybe it's because I'm an Angeleno, and I'm annoyed by Harris' inability to say the name of the park correctly. It's not that hard.
I wish someone had left that song out in the rain.
