Data Off Base

Here's the storyline of the recently-released Movie 43, according to the IMDb:

A series of interconnected short films follows three kids as they search the depths of the Internet to find the most banned movie in the world.

This is simply wrong.  Perhaps it was an earlier version of the plot, or maybe it was sent out as a decoy, but there isn't a hint of this in the finished film.

True, the movie is a series of shorts generally revolving around the repulsive, but what holds it together is the plot of a man pitching a movie to a producer.

I'm a little surprised to see this error at IMDb, which tends to be pretty reliable.  Now that the film is out, it'll be interesting to see how long it takes them to fix it.
