On The Links

Many websites offer links to other websites, often promising something specific and (presumably, if you hit it) interesting.  I always check these things out with trepidation, because, not often but sometimes, hitting the link freezes my computer until I've fully downloaded the new page.  I try to make a note of these places so I don't go back.

Recently I hit a link for an article that seemed interesting.  It took a while to download, but not too long.  But then when I got to it I was required to hit another link to go to where I wanted.  That was enough. I went back.  The nerve of some people.

You ever hit a link to nowhere specific?  It sounds exciting but usually isn't worth it.
