Ed Aims

Happy birthday, Ed Ames.  He was a pop singer who had some hits in the 50s (with the Ames Brothers) and 60s (on his own), even though the world of rock music passed him by.





He also had an acting career, and was known for his role as Mingo on Daniel Boone. Fair or not, his appearance on Johnny Carson's show is probably what he's best remembered for.
