Update
My computer is working a bit, but not too well. Perhaps I'll be able to regularly put up new posts soon. We'll see. In any case, I plan to buy a new computer soon. I assume that'll solve any computer problems I've got (or will it cause new ones). So perhaps we'll be up and running normally soon. And perhaps Columbus Guy will continue to contribute.

So, any looking into a tablet or a smart phone? Do you usually use a laptop or do you still manage to use a desktop? And why haven't you been seduced into Google's $279 chromebook?
Understand, these are questions I'm more or less posing to myself. I'm pretty much deciding to wait for the iPort. It'll be easier.
I use a desktop. It's how I do most of my computer work. I've used a laptop in the past though it's not really what I'm looking for (and don't like using the keyboard). Perhaps I'll get a tablet of smart phone later, but the desktop comes first.
