Listen To The King

Happy birthday, Dick Dale.  Known as the king of the surf guitar, he was the leader of that trend in the early 60s.  He had a bit of a comeback in 1994 when his version of "Misirlou" was used in Pulp Fiction.  I remember seeing him in a record store a few years later.  He played the first few notes of "Misirlou" and then said if you want to hear the rest you'd have to go to a club and pay. And I thought "what a Dick Dale."  Still, it's his birthday, so--for free--let's listen to some of his best:
