Cold World
A year ago, Barbara Hall must have been on top of the world. The first show she created, Judging Amy, was doing fine, and her new hit, Joan Of Arcadia, was coming out of its first season.
Now, in the age of Desperate Housewives, both shows are canceled. Has any producer ever lost both her shows in one day? You figure CBS would show a little mercy and let her keep one.
Oh well, I'm sure she'll land on her feet.

This clearly isn't fair to Moonves, since the reporter who published the cancellation story adopted a tone to mock the TV business, but at the same time Moonves is an adult and knows who he's talking to. So here's the snippet: Among the replacement shows CBS is looking to save its schedule is one featuring "Jennifer Love Hewitt seeing dead people. 'I think talking to ghosts may skew younger than talking to God,' Moonves said."
There's something wrong with your industry, LAGuy
By the way, I rejected three other potential links on the cancelation story until I found this one with the mocking tone and the cool quote (which Drudge is now featuring as his main story). So while there may be something wrong with my industry, there's nothing wrong with MY industry.
May the force be with you.
