Marvellous
While I wouldn't call "World Enough And Time" a classic (here's the YouTube Trailer), I have to admire the obsessives who insist on making new episodes of Star Trek.
As Bluto puts it in Animal House, nothing is over until we decide it is.

I downloaded and watched the first two episodes of "New Voyages". The meticulous re-creation of the ST:TOS sets was amazing. The scripts were mediocre. The acting was truly awful, especially McCoy and Kirk.
The third and fourth episodes have the real Walter Koenig and the real George Takei, respectively. I haven't seen them yet.
If you want to review any of the episodes, please do.
The whole undertaking (note I avoided writing "enterprise") impresses me. The time and money spent by people who simply want more episodes of their favorite show is impressive. I mean there's fan fiction, but this goes above and beyond.
But it also shows that tbere's nothing like professionalism. Perhaps you can recreate the sets, but that's a far cry from writing an exciting yarn. And, even making allowances for actors playing other actors' roles, it's still pretty bad.
