Anomaly?
So I'm no. 1,150,740 to use the quiz that so impressed LAGuy.
Turns out my guy is Tom Tancredo, at a match of 85.71 percent.
But I said I'd vote for Fred Thompson. My Fred match? 85.71 percent.
(Of course, I'm a match for Mitt, too, at 40 percent. The quiz said 80.00 percent, but obviously Mitt believes only half of what he says.)
QueensGuy adds: I'm mildly embarrassed to say that it turns out my guy is Mike Freakin' Gravel, at 90.91% Man, I don't even agree with myself from day to day at that high a rate.

The only reason to vote for Tancredo is if you want to close down the borders, but I bet on the poll you can even favor open borders and still match up with him.
All right, I tried this with LAGuy and he was no help. QG, how are you able to post on the original post? I can find no edit function to do so (except on my own posts).
Setc.
ufdjorgWow, I came out Tancredo too - 94.34%! I did not put down as a high priority the fence and I was in favor of a path to citizenship. I'm from Colorado, but I didn't realize I matched up with Tom that well. I wish he had a chance of winning.
Actually, all my top choices haven't a chance. Next is Duncan Hunter (86.79%) and Brownback (not even running anymore - 85.85%).
My fall backs are Thompson and Romney (each 79.25%). I thought I was a McCain guy (71.70%). Oh well, doesn't make a difference, the party platform pretty much conforms every party candidate to roughly the same stance.
I can only do so by signing in with your ID. You gave it to me a while ago, in a disgusting breach of all expected security measures.
I guess there's a much wider variance among Democrats' positions, because my next closest match was in the 68% range.
You must be mistaken, QG. That would be against the rules. http://www.voanews.com/english/2007-10-19-voa57.cfm
