Who Gives A Fig?
Newt Gingrich is saying the Reagan Era is over. I can't say if this is false or true since I don't know what he means. Is it over despite what we wish? Is it over, good riddance? Is it over and we just haven't noticed? I'm not even sure what he means when he says "Reagan Era."
I am pretty sure the Newt Gingrich era is over, though, so it's easy enough to ignore what he's saying.

Apparently Newt is harboring the belief that the Republican field stays splintered through the convention and he emerges as the saviour from above the fray- I heard him say at least 5 times over the week-end newschat shows that he was not interested in the nomination (once I think it was in response to a question about the weather)- a sure sign
Interesting. Until I read the above, I never thought Newt was delusional.
