Apparently there is a brouhaha over Samantha Power, author and Obama advisor, referring to Hillary Clinton as a "monster" to a Scottish newspaper. This is a true "political gaffe" in the The New Republic/Michael Kinsley sense- when you accidentally say something that you really think.

Silliness Update: Clinton advisor, Howard Wolfson, has likened Obama's pledge to look closer at Hillary's record to be akin to acting like Kenneth Starr (Howie- I'm sure your candidate really appreciates you bringing that name and association into the headlines).

I'd call it a draw.
