Don't Take Debate

I always compare spin doctors to those guys with the brooms in curling who help make the stone hit the intended target after the release.

But what's even more fun, and what we'll see more and more as we come up to the debates, are the pre-spinners. The partisans who try to manage expectations. The McCain people will call Obama a golden-tongued orator, who compares to the greatest speakers in history. The Obama people will call McCain a wily veteran who's seen it all and is rarely bested mano a mano. (And this is nothing compared to what Biden versus Palin will bring out.)

Meanwhile, I will avoid watching the debates, since there's almost never anything new in them, and when there is, it's reported the next day.
