"Overtly Political" Is The Fashion This Year In Sweden

And I'm starting to view the Nobel prize in Economics as just as big a joke as the Lit prize.

Krugman has one chance to come out of this looking good. He can denounce the committee for giving him the Prize.

Well, to be honest, didn't he actually earn his economic accolades? Just 'cause he's a lousy columnist wouldn't vitiate that.

But yes, it did make me throw up a bit on infect indigenous peoples day.

Giving Krugman the Nobel is like giving Frank Rich an honorary Tony for all his Broadway Reviews.

Whatever each man used to be, they're not now. And what they are now isn't pretty.
