Ricky Henderson isn't the greatest ballplayer of all time, but he's up there. So why is it that 28 sportswriters didn't vote for him to make the Hall Of Fame?

Because they track the statistic of "highest vote percentage" and those sportswriters didn't want him eclipsing their childhood hero(es).
The same old bitter guys who dominate sports writing and chased Barry Bonds out of baseball and Manny Ramirez out of Boston. Hopefully demographics will fix this problem (i.e. the old bastards will die)
If it has anything to do with the reason two (or is it 3) time world series winner, Jack Morris is not in there its because he is a d%<(.
