The Supreme Court Gets Wood?

I've heard Diane Wood, a lecturer at my old law school, is on the short list to replace Justice Souter. It'd be cool if she made it, though I don't personally don't think it'll be her.

I had Diane Wood my 1st year for Civ. Pro. I have always considered her the least impressive professor I had at Chicago. Of course, Civ Pro is not a particulalrly intellectually challenging course, somewhat akin I imagine to Anatomy for med students. But I have long held a grudge because her half her final exam was drafting pleadings. We had not discussed drafting pleadings in class, it wasn't assigned reading, and those of us who had not been paralegals before law school had never seen pleadings before. I thought it was very unfair.

Hmm -which Senator should ask about that in the confirmation hearing?

I had Sunstein for Civ Pro, and he's also serving in the Obama administration. Hmm, is there a connection?

Anyway, time to drop the grudge, Denver Guy. I'm sure Wood has long forgotten how we made fun of her in the 3rd Year Show, so let bygones be bygones

Sunstein--or anyone with a penis--has no chance.

Nontraditional is being emphasized- my guess is it will be a notable female politician (which is only really slightly nontraditional) but potentially a nonlawyer (very nontraditional and potentially great or horrible depending upon the individual)
