Weak Versus Weaker

The Detroit Tigers have been losing a bit lately, but still find themselves sitting safely atop the American League Central division. This is probably because it's the weakest division in baseball.

The Tigers aren't a great team, and I don't think they have what it takes to get to the World Series, but at least they're decent. Someone has to win the Central. Might as well be them.

Very weird game last night- close no-hitter (by the RSOX against Detroit) going into the 7th (3-0) then it turned into a blow out (10-0), then it became a close iffy game to due to cavalcade of errors by the Sox (10-5).

In the meantime in Pittsburgh- they just traded, for the 2d year in a row, the team leader, Nate McLouth, in HRs and RBIs (on June 3d!)for 3 iffy prospects. Unless his replacement, promised rookie phenom, Andrew McCutchen, hits for the cycle or something similar this afternoon, thats it, I quit.
