Life Through A Different Filter
You never know what new revelations old films will have. Last night I watched The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) and there was a great scene where two doctors were discussing the humanoid alien Klaatu. They couldn't get over his amazing health and longevity. And then one offered a cigarette to the other.

Before the insurance industry imposed a lot of restrictions, smoking was sexy and sophisticated. Now it's just the acrid stench of low class drug addiction.
Maybe one doctor should have offered the other one bacon.
