Are They Not Men?
Last month Steely Dan was in town, playing full, classic albums in concert. Now another great band from the 70s has announced they'll be playing their albums in concert--Devo. The tour starts in LA in early November.
I missed the Dan. Hope I can make this one.

Memorably (and I would say embarrassingly), Rolling Stone in 1980 compared a Devo concert to a Nuremberg rally. I wonder what they will say now. (probably "who's Devo?")
Here's hoping, they get Sarah Jessica Parker on stage to recreate that great "Square Pegs" moment back when she was geeky hot
Dave Marsh, who reviewed Devo in the Rolling Stone Record Guide, hated them and regularly compared them to fascists. I don't mind Marsh being a clueless numbskull, but why then is he chosen to spew his nonsense in the pages of the rock and roll paper of record?
