Just Spell The Name Right

Carly Fiorina is running for U. S. Senate out here in California. I don't really know anything about her except some are saying she put out a really weird ad. I watched it. I think they're right. I'd watch it again to discuss it more deeply, except I'm too scared.

Give her points for being truly bizarre and goofy enought o be talked about (we all remember "There's a bear in the woods"). However I think she is missing the next big trend "INO" will be a good thing- candidates who are smart and think for themselves and are not unthinking soldiers parroting European-style the party line.

Brown and Obama two years ago clearly got a lot of a partisan votes but is the ones that viewed them as different from what had gone before that put them both over the top (Of course as Obama has shown, there is a short shelf-life on being the "new")

"There's a bear in the woods" is a classic piece of political advertising that worked very well. It set up the situation clearly, simply and honestly, and was only mocked by know-nothings like Gary Trudeau who didn't see their era was over.

This new ad is no bear in the woods. It's just scary and confusing.

That is so scary!

But why does the male narrator have an East Coast accent?
