Time Gets Reasonable
Time Magazine got some attention for it's "5 Reasons Republicans Should Let Go of Health Care." There's nothing I like better than the left giving the right helpful advice, and vice versa.
There have been a number of Democrats trying to help out the Republicans by telling them to accept the health care bill. And no matter how many reasons they give, it always comes down to these two (which, for some reason, they never mention):
1. We like health care reform, so don't mess with it.
2. We know it's pretty unpopular--why do you think we're still trying to sell it?--so the last thing we want is for you to unseat a bunch of Democrats by campaigning against it.

Its pretty unpopular among the vocal opposition. Its presumptuous to assert its unpopular among real people
Sure, anonymous. The whole public agrees with you, they're just aggravatingly silent. It's all stinkin' rich people taking advantage of you and the hordes of kind hearted poor. If only we were smart enough, we'd thank our lucky stars every day for your existence and Obama's and wonder whatever we did to deserve such good fortune. Now if I could just find the right line for my right to health care . . . you don't happen to be a doctor, do you? Can I sue you for not giving me free stuff, or demand that you not go home until I'm satisfied? Or are you a member of the death panel, excuse me, quality assurance or National Institute for Clinical Excellence and Health Care So Abundant It's Falling Unused Off the Back of The Truck Commission, and can you get me a special deal?
