Fun While It's Lasting

Michigan's gotta be the worst 5-0 team around.  We've played five patsies and they all gave us trouble.

The latest (and maybe last for a while) victory came over Indiana, which hasn't beaten us in decades.  It was hard fought and took a last second touchdown (you knew it wouldn't be a field goal) to win.  42-35--I like the 42, but 35?  What happens when we face a real offense, and a solid defense?

Denard Robinson had another astounding day, though he was hurt for a while.  Let's put it this way. With Denard, the Wolverines have a good offense that can break through any second (which is just what Coach Rod wants).  Without him, we still have a decent offense.  But we seem to have no defense, as demonstrated by every joke team we play racking up points.  Oh yeah, we also have no kicking.

So next week is Iowa. It's Homecoming, but it might be more--it might be an awakening.  I still hope somehow we'll figure out ways to make a defense improve, but Rod's strategy just seems to be to outscore everyone.

I think that next week is Michigan State -- another 5-0 squad.

Yes, you're correct. And they're a better team than Iowa, who's the week after.
