Elementary Questions For Watson

This Feburary IBM computer program "Watson" will face the two top money-winners ever on Jeopardy!--Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter--in a special match.  I'll be certain to watch just to see how the logistics work.

Will Watson hear Alex read the question (pardon me, answer)? Will Watson see the words, then read and comprehend them?  Or will Watson have the words typed into its system?

Will Watson have to buzz in and beat the other contestants? (This is very important in the actual show.  There's a neon light surrounding the gameboard and you can't buzz in until the light goes off.  If you buzz in early, you'll cut off your signal for 2/5ths of a second.)

Will Watson answer with sound, or will its answers appear on a screen?

What sort of strategy will Watson use in daily doubles and Final Jeopardy?

PS  Some advice.  Watson, don't forget to phrase your response in the form of a question.

I can answer one of those questions -- it will answer verbally. I heard Watson on NPR last night. Didn't get answers to your other questions, though.
