Bobbi Martin died, still in her 50s, on May 2, 2000. She wasn't a big star, and her kind of easy listening music is all but forgotten today.

She had only had a handful of songs that charted.  Her best, and biggest (#1 on the Adult Contemporary charts in 1970) was "For The Love Of Him."  I wasn't sure if the lyric would fly today, though I guess Shania Twain's disco-ish cover refutes that.
