I seem to recall in this time period I think there were many TV statrs attempting to cash in on their stardom with treacly pop ballads and perhaps not so American Idolish voices
Which is worse?- this song or John Travolta's (pre-Grease and singing lessons) "Let Her In" Are there others
Everyone tries to cash in. Both William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy recorded albums. I wonder if DeForest Kelley every gave it a shot?
My memory is that David Soul, John Travolta and similar "talent" like maybe Andy Gibb were given a heavy rotation that Kirk and Spock did not enjoy as irony was not the rage yet.
And let me put in a plug for Lee Majors - I was watching the Six Million Dollar Man episodes featuring the Bionic Woman and it featured the soulful tunesmithing of Steve Austin about his lost love for "dear Jamie" You can imagine him strumming his guitar in blue cableknot sweater that his mom must have knitted. A very different era.
