I feel we have a special obligation to object to this particular proposed nanny state law.
To the Parish Commissioner's slippery slope argument- "Is underwear next?" I can only hope so.

Just last week I went out to mail a letter on the corner while only wearing a bathrobe. A cop pulled up to the light, right next to the mailbox, but I guess the LAPD have better things to do than worry about improper clothing.
What would that be? Lobby for plastic surgery benefits in their CBA?

I vote I would rather have the LA PD lobby for plastic surgery benefits in their CBA instead of hassling LA Guy about his sartorial splendors. I mean, if thats the only 2 choices.
What if your bath robe looks like a cape? Come to think of it, was there ever a reason besides fashion to wear a cape in public?
Hef wears his bathrobe all the time. And when you think about it, pajamas are sort of like a parody of regular clothes, but I'm not sure why we can't wear them all the time, either.
