Though a(much) lesser work, there is also the NBC News theme.(The Mission?- its the noise that I associate with "News You Can Use" about colonoscopies and related topics)
[When I was growing up, the local CBS news ("Eyewitness News!") used a news theme which I found out, when I got around to listening to Abbey Road, was "The End" (the drum solo part).
The local WB station up here until about 10 years used "Baba O'Riley" as their theme (doesn't one of the CSI/NCIS/Law & Order use it now).]
