Today The Music Lives
Happy birthday, Ritchie Valens. He died when we was only 17, in the plane crash that also took Buddy Holly and the Big Bopper. Not too many teenagers leave a lot behind, but Ritchie did.

God Lou Diamond Phillips is an old man by now- how old would Ritchie be?
Ritchie died young. He'd just have turned 72. Buddy Holly would be 76. The Big Bopper would be dead.
