Call The Doctor

With so many songwriter birthdays recently, I skipped over a big one a few days ago-- Doc Pomus.  Doc, who often worked with Mort Shuman, was one of those amazing guys from the early days of rock and roll who wrote a bunch of classics, the kind that have grabbed hold so well you can't believe there was ever a time they didn't exist.

He made the symbol of the gray circle with the white exclamation point in the middle?

I di find it hard to remember when that symbol didn't exist
