Far, Far Away
Rumors are that Benedict Cumberbatch will appear in the new Star Wars film, probably as a Sith. Say it ain't so. He may be the actor du jour, but I thought he really stunk up the joint in the latest Star Trek movie.
More important, even if J. J. Abrams is coming over from Star Trek to direct Star Wars, I don't want any cross-contamination. Let's keep these two worlds separate. As unfair as it sounds, any actor who's ever been prominent in Star Trek in any way should not be allowed in a Star Wars movie. I don't want to be watching the latest Star Wars and be thinking of Sulu, Scotty, Khan or any of the gang.

Well Shatner's always been a law unto himself.
Maybe Cumberbatch will be inside the now giant digital Jabba the Hut, resurrected from the Pit of Doom.
