"You couldn’t have a starker contrast between the multiple layers of checks and balances [at ‘60 Minutes’] and a guy sitting in his living room in his pajamas writing.”
Query- in 1976, which song was worse*- this one or David Soul's? "Don't Give Up On Us, Baby."
Discuss.
*More cloying, more likely to make you tell your Dad, who you've spent ages convincing to put the rock station on push button presets, to just turn the darn thing off.
Easy- Travolta's was the worse in 76 but it was trick question, as David Soul's work did not hit the charts until April 1977 (knocking off "Dancing Queen" no less, according the giant brain at Wikipedia)

"Don't Give Up On Us" was a number 1 hit in England and charted there in 1976.
Damn you all. For the first time in 20 years, maybe 30, I can't get that song out of my head.
No worries, though. I'm sure we can still come through.
