Gong after international money makes the US a pariah state, economically.
A1: Capone was a putz, what are you gonna do? Putin, not so much. Plus, you know, whaddya gonna do, he's got the A-bomb.
A2: Well, I do agree, but isn't that their goal? They don't much like the US, and they'd love a Tobin tax or a carbon(!) tax or gosh darn it any tax that they can impose everywhere all the time.
