"Hell money" is counterfeit bank notes that are intended to be "presented as burnt offerings to the deceased."
Must present some interesting audit issues to the various authorities involved.

You're kidding, right? Every joke he ever told was an allusion to monetary history.
Reminds me of a letter to the editor nearly 35 years ago: "How does George Schultz find time to draw Peanuts and be secretary of state?"
