New Year, Old Movie
I went to see a Marx Brothers double feature last night at the Aero Theatre, which always shows the boys to start the new year.
The first title was A Night At The Opera, as surefire a film as they have. I've seen it countless times, but always enjoy it with a crowd. And on the big screen, you often catch new details.
But this time around, there was something else. When Chico sat down to play his specialty number, I couldn't help be reminded of Debbie Reynolds. That never happened before.
PS The second film, Monkey Business, has Groucho arguing with the dense Chico, and then saying "there's my argument--restrict immigration." A famous joke, but one that played a bit differently in 2017.
