You Must Remember This

Driving around yesterday, I heard some guy on the radio complaining that on Memorial Day Americans don't properly remember who died fighting for their country.

So this is what it's come down to.  Any time we have a holiday for or tribute to veterans and our military, conservatives make a point of saying how far short we fall.

You know, you've got all year to claim we're not patriotic enough.  Maybe you could give it a rest on the holidays.

PS  Same for people who complain we've forgotten the meaning of Christmas, Thanksgiving, etc.
