Time To Quit
It's about time he left the public scene. Not Ralph Northam. Tom Brady.
Super Bowl LIII wasn't that super. At 13-3 it was the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever, but that felt more due to lackluster offense than impressive defense.
Tom Brady won his sixth Super Bowl, but he didn't look great doing it. He couldn't manage a touchdown till the fourth quarter. His passing seemed off and he blew a fair number of big plays. Luckily for him, he didn't need to score a lot. No one's perfect, but this didn't seem to be the Brady of even a few years ago. His game has lost some of its zing.
He's already announced he'll keep playing, Why? He could retire now and go out on top. He's broken about every record there is, and he certainly has nothing left to prove. And no matter his regimen, with each season he can expect to get a little worse. It's sad to see players stick around past their time. He's got to leave sooner or later. Why not leave now when he can still walk off the field with his head held high? Or, for that matter, when he can still walk off the field.

What are you talking about? It was a great game. It could have gone either way all the way to the last field goal in the last three minutes.
Plus, WTF, he's a Michigan man.
The game might have been fun to watch, but I didn't think either team seemed that impressive, considering they're supposed to be the two best.
It's always tricky to say a team didn't look good, because maybe it's just the other team was better. But it didn't seem to be about a stifling defense--neither offense seemed to really be in gear during the game. They rarely put together a decent series, and there were a number of poor passes and ill-conceived plays.
(It must have been quite a game for those who bet the over, since the over/under was in the mid-50s.)
