No Kidding
April Fools' Day is already a dumb holiday. It's even worse when it falls on Monday. Who needs to start the work week with stupid pranks.
Actually, if you're a good prankster (if a prankster can ever be good), you should do it on March 31st, or April 2, when no one suspects it. Or perhaps promise a big prank on April 1 and then not deliver.
I feel sorry for the .0027 of the public born on this day. Every time you announce your birthday, someone thinks you're kidding.
That's another bad thing about this day--you're never sure what's real. Serious news happens on April 1st, like any other date, but the public isn't sure how to take it.
Actually, I wonder if someone can't use that. Say, the CEO of a company announces a new initiative on April 1, and if it works, great, if not, it was just a prank. Or the president says we're going to war. He can check the polling to see how it plays. If the numbers are bad, well, guess what, "April Fools!"

Well, well. My birthday has a conception date today.
Have to ask the rents about that.
