In some ways, the audience, whooping it up, showing no respect for the President (and no respect for Mrs. King) was the worst thing about the whole circus.
They believe all the racist lies about Katrina? Fine, let's cut off all further aid, since they don't appreciate it, and give them something they can really believe.
