Leather Leo

Much controversy over a gay culture takeoff on Leonardo Da Vinci's Last Supper in the promotional poster for San Francisco's Folsom Street Fair. I don't get it. The painting--an artist's interpretation of events that occurred almost 1500 years earlier--has a religious theme, but is not a religious object itself. In fact, after American Gothic and the Mona Lisa, no painting in history has been more parodied. If the leather culture wants its version, fine.
